We are the Directorate. A diverse group of RPers who have an overwhelming desire to write. We also wanted to see a text-based game enlivened by the multitude of technological interactivity available on the Internet. We have not only played Dune-related games but others that are not text-based. Some of us have even been Gamemasters. And although the members of the Directorate have not experienced first hand the overwhelming compulsion to play the Gamemaster role as a god-like omnipotent, we have been in games where this behavior was prevalent. After the last such experience, we decided to take all of our ideas and form an RP where we could feel the freedom to be creative and imaginative. To govern in tandem with each other to ensure fair play and honesty.

Our real life experiences only seem to enhance our creative desires and we are eagerly pursuing those desires and ambitions in The Quest for Arrakis.
